Mental Health Awareness
Mental health is just as important as your physical health. Just as you would treat a physical problem, such as a broken leg or high blood pressure, your mental health deserves the same level of care. Use the following tips to help care for your mental health:

Find a hobby - This can give you something to look forward to after a rough day. |

Get regular exercise - Moving your body boosts endorphins, the "feel-good" chemicals in your brain. |

Eat healthy meals - Give your body the nutrients it needs. |
• |
Get some fresh air - Spending time outside in nature and sunshine is good for your body and mind. |
• |
Sleep Well - Being tired makes everything harder. Avoid using screens (TV, phones, computers) at bedtime and try reading a relaxing book instead. |

Practice gratitude - Even when things feel tough, remembering what you're thankful for can make a big difference. |
• |
Talk to someone - A therapist can help you find new coping strategies and give tips and education to make you feel better. |
